    Urgent Need for More Contributors
    Call for Help!
For the moment, the lack of Manpower could keep us away from DesktopBSD 2.0 release. However, we would like to announce the urgent need for these roles:
    Developers
    Project administrators
    Website administrators
    Writers and other.
A description of these positions can be read on page Team http://desktopbsd.weebly.com/team.html of the http://desktopbsd.weebly.com Alternative DesktopBSD site.
We need people to commit for 1-5 and more years support and not just join for few months then leave the project.
We would be comfortable enough to submit an application to the Technical Board in order to have a DesktopBSD 2.0 release when we will have volunteers who can actively contribute and help us.
If you have the required experience and skills or if you know someone who has, please contact us directly or share this request in your social media and among your friends.

I volunteered to be a packager for the cinnamon desktop for some weeks.
    But no one responded.

Roelof, that's great, but we can't find the source code for the most recent build!

On freebsd there is no build scripts for the most recent version.
With a little help of a experienced porter I can make them I hope.

The team list is really short, if you would like you can join us to help making DesktopBSD better that it is now.
How much free time do you have? and how much of it do you want to commit to DesktopBSD?
A few months or more? If you are a student, consider talking to your tutor about participating into the project as part of your studies.
Talk about the DesktopBSD project to people around you, on your blogs, your Social accounts, at your work places.
A description of these positions can be read on page Team http://desktopbsd.weebly.com/team.html

I can join you as web developer, spanish translator and designer. In the future maybe as developer, if I can coordinate my time.

    Yes, I'm from Spain.

I know: C++, C, Python, Java, Ruby and Pearl.
For web developing (my actual job): PHP, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, MySQL, XML and all that stuff needed for web developing.

For now I can only compromise me with: web development, design and translation. If I see it is possible to me help you doing something else, I'll do.

why do you need devlepers, CAN ANYONE ACTUALY EXPLAIN THAT TO ME. You guys clearly as of now a fork, so why do you need devopers? Relinux was made by one guy, so why do you need a whole team unless you are planing to fork from FreeBSD, again WITP.
