Any volunteers can help us put together a few torrents with the most recent DesktopBSD builds that will go on the downloads page of the site? That'll be more efficient (and cheaper) than hosting the files ourselves.

Each build should go in a separate torrent (using a reliable tracker) with a proper description and directory structure and include all required documentation. Please PM me if you can help with this. Thanks!

That site does not host DesktopBSD builds, and we have no control over it. We can easily host the torrents ourselves though.

Yes, they don't, it's been a few yars since dBSD had some release. I think it's worth trying t contact them. People going for other BSDs torrents will also see dBSD ones.

So that is good. I wish rather to issue a renewed release!

I rent a server in North Carolina:
    2 x 2 3.2ghz intel xeon
    2GB RAM
    600GB HDD
    CentOS 5.9
    WHM/cPanel license
    SSH/VNC access

I would be happy to provide a mirror or host for the files. Also I can create a cPanel/FTP account for you that you can use to upload the files on your own. PM me if interested. Id really like to see DesktopBSD get back on its feet it was my primary OS for awhile.

Its located in North Carolina, US (East Coast)

shmu, thank you for the offer. We'll definitely get in touch once there's something to host.
