    Good afternoon,
I am new to Linux and I am setting up this DesktopBSD os on a Dell Inspiron laptop.
I like the operating system so far but I am having difficulties setting up a network connection.
In the KDE Control Module for network devices, it states " No network interfaces found. "
When I type 'ifconfig' at a terminal prompt, I get what appears to be a loopback adapter but no information relating to a specific device.

Do I need to run something to get this operating system to detect the wired and wireless network cards??

    Thanks.
